It's just how you pronounce t8o.

Matthew's home page. This is the most detailed area. You will find stuff about computers and silly toys.

  You can browse my little contributions to the Free software world, and see how the web site is (will be) put together.
  Current specialities are CGI toys useful for a firewall in a small office network and some command line utilities for "getting the job done".

Kat's pages. There isn't much here. Some of it is passworded, but if you need to know the password she will tell you what it is.
Feed the spambot. This page is pointless for humans, but you're welcome there anyway. Another work "in progress"...
The toy now has its own home page. It's just a computer - it no longer has an "entire web site" devoted to it, just a small corner.
Oh, except I haven't restored that. Toy is now hiding behind another machine. Try the netcraft stats for this site intead.

Obselete related websites

toy.ddts.net was the machine that hosts this site and a couple of others, now it's t8o.dyndns.org instead.
www.fruitcake.demon.co.uk is now just a set of redirection pages to this site. This is explained in Matthew's area.

Downtime

Took the web server down for a while because some loon was hammering it every 3 seconds with a recursive fetcher which claimed to be "lynx". This caused significant problems for the game of Starcraft which was in progress at the time. It's high time I reinvented the "rude robot detector" wheel. -- mca, 2003-10-26
